Diocese of Boise Consecrated to Mary


On August 15th, the Feast of the Assumption, Bishop Peter F. Christensen consecrated the Diocese of Boise to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at an 11:00 A.M. Mass at Sacred Heart Mission, Cataldo.

Statement by the Diocese of Boise on Father Victor Jagerstatter —

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise has learned of the arrest of Rev. Victor Jagerstatter, Parish Administrator of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Mountain Home. The Diocese will cooperate fully with law enforcement officials in their investigation. Due to the seriousness of the allegations, Fr. Jagerstatter has been placed on administrative leave. We hold up in prayer all those involved in this matter.
